Hard Maple also called Sugar Maple grows in North American and mostly in Canada. It can be found also in Eastern USA and in Europe but the size of the are much smaller in those territories.
The sapwood is creamy white with a slight reddish brown tinge. The wood has a closed, fine uniform texture, and is generally straight-grained.
Flooring, furniture, paneling, ballroom and gymnasium floors, kitchen cabinets, worktops, table tops, butchers blocks, toys, kitchenware and millwork: stairs, handrails, moldings and doors. That is due to its resistance and it’s facility with being polished.
